|  | Born in Jerusalem in 1887 Abbas graduated from the Al-Azhar University in Ciaro , Egypt. He was an active member in the resistant movement in the early days against the British and the Zionists.He was injured durring battle by 3 bomb shards that exploded near him. One hitting his leg, one hitting his hip, and one going for his heart but was stopped by the Holy Quaran being carried in his pocket. His comrade carried him to the villiage of Sanoor were he spent quite a time in the house of the Moktar while his wounds healed. Imam Abass ended up marrieng the Moktar's daughter , Fatima. They later on had only one son, Mohammad Lutfe.Imam Abass built a Mosque in Sanoor (Shaik Abbas Mosque) with the help of the community. Since the British still have a death warrent placed on his head,Abbas kept a low profile in Sanoor while teaching Sharia in the day and at night helping the resistant movement. He died in 1946 with bomb shards still in his leg. |  |
